Afterschool Program
As we all know, the school day ends much earlier than the typical workday. Parents usually scour the internet, looking for a well-rounded program that provides their children the supervision and enrichment that their child needs and deserves during the after-school hours. We strive to give children the necessary assistance and encouragement they need to succeed in their academic and personal lives!
What we offer:
– Homework tutoring
– Academic enrichment
– Extra daily workbook/academic activities (reinforcement of school
subjects)
– Opportunity to practice rhetorical/language skills through fun public
speech/creative writing workshops, and more
– Quiet activity time where reading is encouraged!
– Guided academic and physical activities
– Group reading activities (for kindergartners)
– Outside ball/tag games
– Outside playtime to get the bloodworks flowing!
– Snack times throughout the day with fruit options
Compatible with the school schedules in the San Mateo/Foster City Elementary School District.
Kindergartners
REGULAR DISMISSAL SCHEDULE (M-F)
– 12 to 1:15pm : arrival and playtime/quiet activity; snack time
– 1:15 to 2:15pm : guided group activity
– 2:15 to 3:15pm : outside time; snacks provided
– 3:15 to 4:15pm : HW time; quiet/reading time
– 4:15 to 5:00pm : outside guided activity; snacks provided
– 5:00 to 5:45pm : extra textbook HW time; special on Fridays
– 5:45 to 6:00pm : free time; pickup
EARLY DISMISSAL SCHEDULE (W)
– similar to Grade 1-5 early dismissal schedule
Grade 1-5
REGULAR SCHEDULE (M, T, Th, F)
– 2:15 to 3:15 : arrival and snack time
– 3:15 to 4:15pm : HW time; quiet/reading time
– 4:15 to 5:00pm : outside guided activity; snacks provided
– 5:00 to 5:45pm : extra textbook HW time; special on Fridays
– 5:45 to 6:00pm : free time; pickup
EARLY DISMISSAL (W)

– 1:00 to 2:00pm : HW time; quiet/reading time

– 3:30 to 4:00pm : inside free time
– 4:00 to 5:00pm : guided classroom activity (science/writing/speech lab/etc.)
– 5:00 to 5:45pm : outside time
– 5:45 to 6:00pm : free time; pickup
